Speaker Bobby Petrocelli talks to Students in Grades 9 and 10

Nationally-known speaker Bobby Petrocelli recently shared his personal story with all students at Perryville High School. An educator and coach, Petrocelli's life was forever changed when a drunk driver over twice the legal limit crashed into his house, injuring him and killing his wife of two years, Ava. That was more than 25 years ago, and Petrocelli said his school family surrounded him and helped him heal from his injuries and terrible loss. He is now an author and motivational speaker who delivers an inspiring message to today's teens about reaching out to others to help them through their own pain and struggles. He addressed students in Grades 11-12 during the annual DEFY Conference and docudrama on April 17, and spoke to students in Grades 9-10 on April 18.
