Alexis Doza is a 2nd grade teacher at Perryville Primary Center. Her nominator said: "Ms. Doza has shown immense kindness and thinks outside the box to help students. She has gone above and beyond to help my son in areas where he is struggling, thinking outside the box to help motivate him."
Rachel Likert is a 6th grade social studies teacher at Perry County Middle School. Her nominator said: "Ms. Likert goes above and beyond in her role, consistently bringing history to life and seeking new ways to engage her students. She builds strong, meaningful connections with her students both in the classroom and through her work with the color guard, where her passion and dedication shine just as brightly. Her commitment to our students and school community is truly inspiring"

All performances begin at 7 p.m. and tickets will be sold at the door for $7, general seating.
According to the Silver Dagger Players, this is not the dramatic Shakespeare people may be accustomed to. It is his funniest comedy with lots of misunderstandings, love potions, and spells being cast in both a fairy world and a human world.
This show will be most appropriate for anyone fifth grade and up, but there is enough action happening, that it should hold the attention of younger audience members too. Language warning — there is a reference to the other word for donkey several times during the play.

Nicholas earned a $500 prize that PES will put towards outfitting the cafeteria with TV screens for interactive activities.

🐍 What’s a Snake Dance?
Led by the senior drumline and cheerleaders, community members join hands and march with Pirate pride, cheer with spirit, and feel the beat of the drumline as we wind “snake” through campus in a wave of green and white. You can join the snake at anytime by linking on to the end. This is a cherished school tradition that once circled the town square and has now come home to campus.

Jennifer Fritche is a special education instructor at Perryville Primary Center. Her nominator said: "Mrs. Fritsche’s impact goes far beyond academics; she is opening doors to independence, confidence, and opportunity for her students. Her commitment reminds us what teaching is all about – meeting every child where they are and never giving up on their ability to succeed. This is why she deserves to be recognized and celebrated. Dana Hogard is a math teacher at Perryville High School. Her nominator said: "Mrs. Hogard is a teacher who deeply cares for her students and the subject she teaches.
