TG Missouri recently donated $13,000 in supplies to Perryville High School to support ongoing tornado recovery efforts as PHS, which begins classes next week.
The donation featured well over 100 items requested by PHS teachers to replace items lost or damaged in the March 14 tornado. The items included everything from books, furniture, and stationery to calculators, classroom posters, and educational models.
"I've always loved how the folks in Perry County are quick to help out neighbors, friends, and family whenever there's a need," said PHS Principal Shadrick Shafer. "Even though we're five months down the road from the tornado, TG Missouri is still showing up to help us have the best possible start to the school year. It really makes a person proud to be from Perryville."
