The Perry County School District 32 Board of Education will hold a Community Engagement Open House on Saturday, Jan. 17, to discuss plans for rebuilding Perryville High School.
The meeting will be held from 10 a.m. to noon at Robinson Event Center, located at 2411 Walters Ln. Members of the District 32 community are cordially invited to attend.
Representatives from Sapp Design Architects will present plans and renderings of a re-imagined PHS facility that were designed using feedback from community members and PHS stakeholders.
The meeting will also include a discussion of the cost for the project as well as a plan for financing. The financing conversation will address the District’s insurance payout, a potential bond issue on the April ballot, and the potential for a future reimbursement from FEMA.
